James Gunn in Panama and His new Friend

James Gunn was shooting Suicide Squad 2 in Panama City and Colon City. During his 2 weeks of production, a pregnant stray dog started following him all day, so he decided to rescue the dog. Likewise, producer Peter Safran’s family rescued a small kitten too.

It is no secret that James Gunn loves animals, just as we saw him with the model raccoon Oreo in Guardians of the Galaxy.
